I can honestly say this was the best and most expeditious new car buying experience I have ever had.  I live out of state in South Carolina and was interested in purchasing a new Denali Yukon for my wife.  I did not think I was being delt with reasonably or professionally at the local GMC dealer and happened to see an ad on the internet which was advertising much better pricing.  After a quick call to Rusty Lutz and learning the pricing was actually better than advertised, I made the 150 mile drive and purchased the vehicle.  Rusty and his team actually gave me what I wanted on my trade-in as well.  I have already recommended several of my friends to Rusty.  I would definately highly recommend using Everett Chevrolet GMC and Rusty Lutz if you like professional, competitive dealings with people of integrity.

This was by far the best, most relaxed and friendliest dealership experience I have ever had. I didn't feel like I had just spent money on a new car, I actually felt like I had done something good. Lynne searched the inventory to find a car I would like and would fit in my budget, and I love it. The Financing Department did everything in my best interest instead of just trying to see how much extra money they could make. The sales ( Lynne) and product specialist (Ryan ) spent full time with me, making sure I new everything about my new car. He set up my Bluetooth and OnStar. I had gone in to the dealership just to see what I could get, and presto, I left with a brand new car and a large smile on my face.  I am almost wanting to go back and buy another new car, just for the experience again. This was a rare experience in today's world where most people just want to get the job done. This is my third experience buying a vehicle here (one was my daughter's vehicle).  We have always been treated with respect (which I haven't always gotten at other dealerships).  They worked with us with financing and a great price on my trade-in.  I got a better interest rate than our credit union!  After my purchase Ryan went over every control with me and made sure I understood how everything worked.  He was great and spent about 45 minutes with me.  Jim Williams was my salesman and he talked and got to know me and my preferences.  He let me try out as many vehicles as I wanted.  He even stayed late to make sure the deal was closed and came in early the next day for me to take the car.  Jim followed through with everything!  I have no complaints other than the windows inside were not clean when I picked it up and the odometer reading on the paper they gave me did not match the actual mileage on the car.  But this is minor to me and overall I had a wonderful experience and would tell others not to hesitate to use this dealership.  The service department is also great in my previous experience.

First of all I'd like to thank Jim Williams for my great experience in buying an automobile!! He was very courteous and professional but most of all, he didn't make me feel like just another customer, when I asked questions!! He gave me an answer to the best of his abilities or he went and got a product specialist. I went online checking out vehicles, found my 2011 SLT and a 2012 SLE Terrain and filled out an application and before I was finished, Jim and Jenny had emailed me and got the ball rolling. I informed him that my location was over 350 miles away and I had purchased a car there previously. He updated me with the information that I requested and kept me abreast of any changes to the availability and color of vehicle. He asked when it was convenient for me to come by and test drive the vehicle I had selected. I gave him my credit card to place a hold on the vehicles I selected. Since we were so far from the dealership and we were extremely busy, we called Jim at his house and he answered my call and was very pleasant. We informed him that we would be in his area on Monday. We arrived at 1:30 pm and he had the vehicles out waiting in the lot for us to choose. With his guidance and non pushy attitude, we selected the 2012 Terrain SLE 2.  I want to invite everyone I know and people I don't know to check out Everett Chevrolet... you will not be disappointed. Let me start off by saying I have never bought a car from a dealer. I have always heard they are pushy and do not care about their customers. After my encounters with the parts and service departments when my wife totaled her car, I knew one of the places I would have to look was Everett Chevrolet. When I arrived on Friday the 12th and walked in to the show room I was introduced to Neil Parsons. I was inquiring about the Chevy Sonic. Neil started to ask the important questions like do you have a trade in, what are you looking for in a car etc. We looked at the two Sonics that were on the lot and drove one around town. When we got back to the dealership, I let him know the car was for my wife and I would want her to drive it. He said bring her by. This is the point where I really started to like Mr. Parsons, he did not push me to call her get her there, he printed me off the info I requested and gave me a card and said I could call if I needed anything or had questions. With my wife and child in tow, we returned to the dealership on Saturday morning so she could drive the car - in his words "drive it around for a little bit no rush". Before we left we told him we liked the hatchback, while we were driving the car he found us two hatchbacks in Statesville, we told him we were going to take our car and look at it, he said take our car to that dealer to drive it and if we liked the hatchback he would get us one. When we returned back to the dealership he asked us what we thought, we liked the car we were driving. As we started the paperwork he was super nice to my daughter providing her with a snack and a drink. He not only got me the car I thought I could not afford but he got it to me for the payment I wanted. I am now the happy owner of a 2012 Chevy Sonic and I will never do business anywhere else but Everett Chevrolet. This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had.

My husband and I went car shopping on a Sunday because we did not want to be bother by a salesman. Come to find out later that we did not have to worry about that at Everett Chevy. We found one we liked and came home and looked it up online to get all the details. We were sold. My name is Edwin Williams, and I purchased a GMC Terrain 2010 from Everett and Neil Parsons about 2 years ago. Everyone at Everett has taken very good care on me and the vehicle since this purchase. This vehicle was probably the best car that I have ever owned, and it truly showed this past Friday. I was involved in a very bad accident on my way to work in Hickory. Please see the attached photos of my car from the accident. I can truly say that this GMC Terrain and the safety features saved my life. To come away from this accident with only fractured ribs, some issues with excess air in my chest cavity and a swollen jaw, I am truly blessed.

I wanted to pass this information onto you, Everett, Neil, Jeff and Steve in service and everyone else involved with Everett to let you know that this car is exceptional and convinced that I would not be here today without the safety features in the Terrain. Thanks.

I guess now we will have to start negotiations on another Terrain from Everett. Let me know all of my options and your best deals and hopefully, I will have a new GMC Terrain 2012 in a week or two.

Please make sure that this testimony reachs the highest levels with GMC on your product. It is a hell of a car, and I am just grateful that I was driving a Terrain when this accident occured. Talk soon.

I brought our HHR into the service department for a free bump to bumper check. I was looking for a newer vehicle than our 1997 Dodge Dakota Pickup to drive. When I was walking around the lot Randy Lutz came out to greet me and I explained what I was looking for and the budget I was comfortable with. Randy showed me a couple of different makes of used vehicles within my budget. I decided on the 2009 Nissan Sentra, we took a test drive and I fell in love with the vehicle. Rusty was very efficient and professional with the paper work and never tried to pressure me into purchasing a vehicle above my budget price range. it's refreshing to have someone actually listen to your wants and needs not their own, espically with commissioned sales.  Rusty Lutz is very much a gentleman. Ryan the financial guru explained every document that I had to sign and why it was needed. My wife and I were interested in a Chevy Volt. We knew what we wanted in regards to options but it seemed every car with the features we wanted was a white 2011 dealer demo. An internet search showed Everett had a 2012 model with the features we wanted in Viridian Joule at a better price than the majority of the 2011's. We requested further information and were promptly provided with the car's details along with several pictures. Ryan answered our every question and soon we were making our purchase decision. The delivery went smoothly. Ryan showed us how to configure the car's various functions from uploading music to adding an address book. We couldn't be more satisfied. Our last Chevrolet purchase was in 1978. This experience has moved Chevrolet to the top of the list for our next car.

After 23 years as a loyal exclusive Honda buyer, we came to Hickory to drive the Cruze LTZ/RS. The Cruze was more than we expected, a solid well built car that is in my opinion, a "Civic killer." Salesman Andy Campbell was awesome, a real professional. Most dealerships would never let you test drive the car alone - but Andy was so confident the car would sell itself, he said "Bring it back when you're done." He was no pressure and no hassle - we came to deal within 15 minutes. And comparing Everett's price to other Chevy dealers in Statesville, I got a great deal. I had been watching the internet for over 6 months looking for the specific used pickup that had the options I wanted.  Everett posted an add on eBay of the truck that was a perfect match (and they were only 1.5 hours away from where I live).  So I called Everett and was put into contact with Heath McPherson who said he would have the truck pulled up and waiting for me when I arrive.  When I got there, the truck was right up front and ready to go for a drive.  Heath was busy with a customer, so Corey Brown took over and set me up for the drive.  I love the truck and was ready to deal (with my old 1999 Ford F-150 as a trade-in).  Corey and the Sales staff gave me a good deal on my trade-in and the transaction was very smooth.  It was a great buy!  The other managers who explained the options and closed the financial documents were also excellent.

When I got the truck home, I notices marks in the clear coat and called Corey.  He immediately put me in contact with Tina Lynch (Customer Service Manager) and their team was on top of getting everything worked out perfectly!  Thank you Everett and your team of employees!

I purchased a used 2009 Chevrolett 1500 Silverado pickup from Everett and once I got it home under flourescent lighting in the garage, I noticed someone had tried to rub out some marks on the hood and side.  The result was a number of fine scratch marks in the clear coat that could only be seen in the proper light.  I called Everett and was put into contact with Tina Lynch.  I sent them pictures and asked to bring the truck in early in the morning and wait for it as I live 1.5 hours away.  I also asked that they check the front end.  Tina recommended that they come and get the truck and leave me a replacement car so they could keep the truck as long as needed to "do the job right".  They sent the driver out with a replacement car and picked up the truck.  Tina checked it over again the next morning to make sure all the marks were buffed out and the front end checked out okay.  The job was excellent and the service was exceptional!  Plus, they filled the truck up with a tank of gas!  Thank you Tina, and thanks to your team at Everett!

I guess the first word that comes to my mind is WOW!!!! My wife and I drive 2 hours to get there, and it was well worth it. From the minute Neil Parsons introduced himself, to the time we walked out with my truck, it was an excellent experience. I had been looking for around 3 weeks, and would leave dealerships because of their attitudes and the way they treated people. Everett is different. From the salesman, all the way through the sales manager and finance man, everyone involved was pleasant to deal with and didn't try and bankrupt me. Quite possibly the best car buying experience of my life. I had submitted an email asking further details about a pre-owned vehicle - Doug Minton called me within five minutes of submitting the request.  Doug will make you forget any preconceived notion about salesmen who usually have little concern other than to take your money and run.  I visited a dealership in South Charlotte earlier in the day and had the usual onslaught of sales tactics, withholding my keys, following me to my car as I left, outnumbering me, etc.  I walked into Everett, met Doug, shook his hand and it was almost like meeting an old family friend. Doug let me decide what I needed, what I wanted and what I wanted to pay.  I can't say enough good things about Doug and the Everett dealership!

I just recently purchased a 2009 Silverado and my buying experience was fantastic. After attempting to deal with local dealerships, I found the vehicle that I wanted at Everett. Mr. Minton and the whole staff was very helpful with my purchase and worked to get me the best deal they could on the truck. Which was an excellent deal. I just took delivery of a 2011 Camaro, and thanks to Everett Chevrolet is was one of the easiest buying experiences I have had. I previously tried to deal with our dealership in Shelby and then in Lincolnton to try and purchase a 2011 Camaro. Both dealerships tried to make me jump through hoops before I could even get through to the finance manager. I did not have this problem with Tte guys at Everett; they were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I placed a call to the sales manager on Wednesday shortly before lunch telling him exactly what I wanted, and he handed me over to Bryan Parsons in sales and shortly before 3:30 they called me back to tell me everything was ready all I needed to do was come in a sign the paperwork. By 6:30pm I had taken delivery of my new Camaro. In the future I will not even stop at the other aforementioned dealerships, I will drive an hour out of my way to visit the guys at Everett Chevrolet. Thanks guys, this is the way buying a car should be....no hassles!

The best car purchase experience ever!!!  I have bought a lot of cars in my day, but I have never dealt with a better dealership than Everett Chevrolet. I had to drive 3 hours to get there, but it was well worth it.  Steve Hunt and Bill Yeatts worked overtime to get me the best deal and financing in the whole state.  I checked everywhere and not one dealership could beat the deal that Steve and Bill worked out for me.  I really appreciate all their hard work putting the deal together.  They understood my situation and made the deal and financing possible.  I will not think twice about going back to Everett for my next vehicle purchase.  Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

After several months of trying to find a flat-towable compact vehicle and being told by other dealerships good luck in my search for a perticular one, I bought a 2011 Cruze LTZ. I test drove several vehicles on Everett's lot and finally decided on one. One should always do his/her homework and be prepared prior to purchasing a vehicle. However, when dealing with Everett one doesn't have to be on guard as much because they'll take care of you. Local is always better!

Everett Chevrolet is a great place to buy a car.  I have been looking for a particular vehicle for months.  I just happen to be in Hickory working (which is an hour away from my home) and decided to pull in and see what they had.  Come to find out they had exactly what I was looking for.  So I decided at that time it was time to buy a car.  They did a good job working with me to get the price where I wanted it to be.  I then I had to have my wife drive an hour to bring the car that we were trading in.  As the deal was getting finalized the only thing I asked for was a full tank of gas. I did not ask for anything to be thrown in except a full tank of gas.  When we left the dealership we had just under a half a tank and had to drive 2 cars back home.  I was very disappointed they wouldn't meet that request as that was the only thing we asked for after coming to an agreement on the price of the car.   That is the only thing that kept us from giving them a 5 star rating.

More than just a sale.  There were several little problems with my new car and I waited till all of it was addressed before providing feedback so I could be objective to how Everett treated me and be able to discuss what went well and what did not go so well. 

From the day after I bought it, my brand new car was in Service 11 days and even had a problem after being delivered to which they rectified it the same day.  One could say I should have walked away from the deal and the car because who wants to get involved in a brand new car that is right off the delivery truck and has issues immediately?  But this was my first time buying from Everett and I wanted to give Everett a fair chance to show me what kind of service they provide and dealership they are.  I was told by several people at Everett that they will make it right and to be fair - in the end they did. 

As you know, the Total Cost of Ownership of a vehicle is beyond the initial investment of purchasing the car. What really matters is how you're treated when there is a problem with the car and how well it is serviced by the Dealer.  The service department is the mirror of the Dealership's attitude toward customers. A salesman will say just about anything to make the deal and treat you like fine wine, but the service department truly reflects the attitude of the Owner of the dealership. Poor service reflects the attitude "all about the deal and you were crazy for coming here in the first place." Excellent service reflects "I not only want you, but everyone you encounter as a customer for life."

Bottom line, I was told once by a Vice President of my company what the secret of success is. "Say what you will do and do what you say.  You would be surprised how many people/companies do not do that.  Most people do the former, but few do the latter."

Everett Chevrolet is overall doing a good job even though there are areas for improvement related to service in time management, technical training, quality of work, and verifying fix, but overall they did do what they said they would do - make it right. That is what matters - Making it right.

At this time, I would DEFINITELY buy from them again, recommend to others to buy from Everett, and gladly do business with the same salesman, but what will matter in the long run is how the service goes from now till the life of this vehicle.  Because how that is done will impact potential future sales not only by myself but those I tell about how I was treated as an owner of a Chevrolet.

I want to personally thank everyone involved with this car from sales, service and management. Thank you for making it right and for all the work that went into this situation.  And thank you for this car.  I wish you all much continued success.

This is our first experience with Everett Chevrolet Buick GMC and we were extremely impressed with the professionalism of everyone we dealt with. We talked with another dealer but Everett was the only dealership that was able to get the vehicle in the color and with the equipment we desired without ordering and possible losing the Buick loyalty rebate. Rebate expired on 5/31/2011. The price was very competitive and the amount offered for our trade-in was very generous. Once we agreed upon a price and arrived to take ownership of our new Buick LaCrosse we were amazed with everyone’s professional expertise. I thought I had an excellent interest rate but Finance Manager Andrew Harwood was able to get us an unbelievable lower interest. The time Sales Consultant Ryan Hoke took to show us around and introduce us to the service department and then explain the many functions on the LaCrosse was very impressive. This is the first time we have ever had someone explain in detail the functions on a new vehicle. If this is any indication of the service we can expect, this will not be the last vehicle we purchase from Everett Chevrolet Buick GMC.

It is difficult to write a review which is better than the ones I have read but I will give it a try.  First of all we appreciate that we were NOT overwhelmed with sales people at our initial visit.  Once we were introduced to Corey our discussion was enjoyable to say the least.  My wife dreaded going to a dealer, she said it probably was like a Root Canal but that is not the way it turned out.  We truly enjoyed our visit and we did NOT go through the old, "Let me check with the manager, I will be right back".  Bottom line is we were offered a fair trade in value on our truck, and we completed the purchase, thank you.

Heath McPherson was the salesman that I had. I did have a great experience with Everett Chevrolet. I located this new GMC Terrain on the Internet, Heath was the salesman I received when calling the dealership. After talking several times on the telephone, we payed a deposit down on this new Terrain. We live in east Kentucky and knew what we wanted before we started after it. We had to drive several hours to get it but there was a much better deal at the end of our trip. They also have some great places to eat. I grew up in the hills of east KY. I'm 54 years old. I have purchasted several new General Motors Cars and Trucks through the years. It all started with a 1953 Chevrolet truck that was a hand me down truck from my Grandpa to my Dad. That old truck was tough. That old truck made a great impact on my life. It always came through for us. Times were tough growing up in east Kentucky about 45 years back. The thing that I best remember about that old Truck was my mother and I hauled 2 1/2 tons of heavy metal from Kimper where I grew up to Prestonsburg KY. on a 1/2 ton truck with six ply tires and a set of over load springs. I still buy Chevrolet trucks. Well getting back to Heath. The only thing I could find wrong with him is he likes them Duke Blue Devils. I can't hold that against him. I did ask him to cut them old Wildcats a little slack when he could. I will be 54 this Friday. This is by far my best experience with an auto dealership and a great Salesman. My purchase transaction was expedient! I drove a little over two hours to "seal the deal" and was not disappointed upon my arrival.

The only negative is that Memory Key 1 could not be located. Mr. Bush is checking on it, but I am hopeful that if it cannot be located that the dealership will make good on their promise to maintain my satisfaction by replacing it. When I checked, it costs ~$160 to replace an Acura key & have it programmed! I'm still waiting.
